Man Accused of Smoking Meth With Kids

A Bradenton man and his girlfriend are accused of a rather disgusting case of child abuse that involves children being sexually abused and smoking meth.

According to Manatee County police, Sean Ussery, 42, and his girlfriend Amy Muse, 37, lived together in Bradenton with Muse’s kids. Ussery abused her children for five years and she didn’t do anything to prevent or stop it.

An arrest affidavit explains that the kids told officers that Muse was jealous of the attention her children were getting and she had oral sex with Ussery right in front of them.

When a child protested, she exclaimed “He was mine first,” the affidavit says.

The kids also told police the couple smoked meth in the house and a drug test confirms that one of the children smoked with Ussery.

The couple was arrested Tuesday by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Department. Muse was charged with child abuse, child abuse failure to protect, and lewd and lascivious exhibition, while Ussery was hit with 16 counts of capital sexual battery, ten counts of sexual battery by a familial authority and one count of aggravated child abuse.

Both remain in jail without bond.
