A 23 year old man is dead Friday morning after a serious car crash in Pasco County. Another passenger, 22, is in serious condition. They were both wearing a seat belt.
At 6:00 am, a 2005 Dodge Neon was traveling eastbound on Ridge Road at the intersection of Regency Park Boulevard. At the same time, a 2001 Ford Mustang, driven by a 58 year old woman, was traveling southbound on Regency Park Boulevard at the intersection of Ridge Road.
Both vehicles entered the signalized intersection and as a result the left front of the Dodge Neon hit the right front of the Mustang, causing the Dodge to overturn.
The driver of the Dodge died at the scene. Next of kin hasn’t been notified and charges are pending for the Mustang driver, who is in serious condition.
