Interview: Obama Prepares For Asia Trip

President Obama departs Tuesday for a week-long, four-nation tour of Asia, where he and his top aides will be less focused on any big policy announcements than on reassuring jittery allies that America remains committed to bolstering its security and economic ties to the region. The trip comes as Americas Pacific allies carefully watch the situation unfolding in Ukraine and wonder how the presidents response to Russias annexation of the Crimean Peninsula might affect Beijings strategy in disputes with its neighbors. And lets not forget whats on the Presidents agenda for Monday - the highly anticipated Easter Egg Roll at the White House.

AM 820 News anchor Roger P. Schulman spoke to ABC News correspondent Ann Compton.
