Interview: Obama Prepares For Asia Trip

President Obama departs Tuesday for a week-long, four-nation tour of Asia, where he and his top aides will be less focused on any big policy announcements than on reassuring jittery allies that America remains committed to bolstering its security and economic ties to the region. The trip comes as America’s Pacific allies carefully watch the situation unfolding in Ukraine and wonder how the president’s response to Russia’s annexation of the Crimean Peninsula might affect Beijing’s strategy in disputes with its neighbors. And lets not forget what’s on the President’s agenda for Monday – the highly anticipated Easter Egg Roll at the White House.
