Lindsay Lohan Suing Rockstar Games

Lindsay Lohan is suing the video game Grand Theft Auto for making a character that she feels is a direct image of herself.

Lohan filed a lawsuit Wednesday, according to Ben Child at the Guardian. She is suing the game’s developer, Rockstar Games, claiming that they used a character of her likeness without her permission.

According to the article, the character is named “Lacey Jonas” and is described as a famous actress and a minor character in Grand Theft Auto V. Supposedly, players will meet Jonas in the game when she is found in an alley in downtown “Vinewood” where she is apparently hiding from paparazzi. She then asks to be driven home and engages in a dialog where she explains the complications about being famous and reveals she is anorexic.

This does resemble Lohan a bit. Jonas is pictured on the cover of the game holding a cell phone.

In the lawsuit, Lohan says Rockstar used her voice, image and outfits form her clothing label without her say.
