Don Pardo, Voice Of SNL, Dies At 96

Don Pardo

The long-time voice of Saturday Night Live, Don Pardo, has died at the age of 96, Mashable.com confirmed. Pardo was the voice of ‘Saturday Night Live’ for all but one of it’s 38 years running.

He worked with NBC for 60 years, doing radio, tv and pretty much anything else that required his unique voice. He has been with NBC since 1944 and he retired (sort of) in 2004 but maintained his SNL appearances at his Arizona home.

His television breakthrough came in 1956, when he was the voice of The Price is Right.

People have expressed their love and sadness for Pardo on social media.
