Convenience Store Armed Robbery Video Released

On March 23, 2014 at about 10:00 p.m., an unidentified lone male suspect entered the Hungry Babas convenience store at 1811 Dr. M. L. King Jr. Street South armed with a rifle. The suspect was masked and robbed the clerk, taking cash from the register and then fled the store. No car was seen and there were no injuries.

The suspect was described as a B/M, 2530yoa, 6’00″6’02″, 150160lbs, dark skin, black shirt concealing face, black leather jacket and black pants.

St. Petersburg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information should call Detective Billy Crews at (727) 893-7266 or the police non-emergency number at 727-893-7780, or they may leave a confidential tip at 727-892-5000.
